That's rock n' roll, baby!

Myles singing "ABC's" to Isla. I'm not sure she's all that impressed, but we thought it was funny!

Smile for the camera

It's picture time at Myles' preschool. His are so cute (although I am rather biased!).  Sharing...

Bouncy Chair

Isla loves bopping in the bouncy chair. She'd better enjoy it, she's almost outgrown it!

It's Fall!

It's Fall!  The kids are growing fast!  Isla has gotten her two bottom front teeth, now her two top front teeth, and is working on more. Myles' words and sentences are exploding, and he's curious about the world and everything in it.  This morning's conversation went like this - John:  "Myles, I see a garbage truck!"  Myles: "Yeah, I see it too!  Good eye, Daddy!"  :)

Isla is sweet and watchful, Myles is sweet (albeit a tad jealous) and jumps in with both feet. We're feeling tired but blessed this season.  A few pictures from the past month...including pumpkin carving, Halloween (Myles is Woody from "ToyStory," Isla is a flower),  and learning how to eat (added bonus - check out Isla's crazy hair!). Daycare Mural

Some pictures of the mural at Myles' daycare I painted last year. I wanted to add some imaginary creatures like Totoro and a falkor but I think it would have gone over some heads!

Dinosaurs, Spiders, and Reptiles

I took Myles and Isla to the Natural History Museum on Sunday. We visited the Dinosaur show, where Myles got to see Tyrannosaurus Rex live and in action - very cool.  It also was reptile appreciation day (what day isn't, right?) and the atrium was filled with live reptiles - snakes, crocodiles, lizards and frogs.  Myles thought this was pretty cool.  And to top it off, we visited the spider pavillion - a seasonal exhibition with live and free spiders roaming around a special enclosure with you.  Yikes! Myles (and Mommy, too!) was kind of freaked out by these, even though they were all non poisonous. Some of them were as big as your hand. Eeek.  Well worth a visit with kids. To top it off, we had a nice picnic before heading home.  A fun day!

T-Rex! Dead and "alive"!

Reptile Appreciation!

Spiders!

The orange blob behind the bench is a BIG spider!|

Spider to the right of us! Isla looks interested, Myles wants to run. LOL

Spider food, awwww.... (left over from the butterfly exhibition...)

Angel Face

Myles and Isla look so much alike!  Here is a recent photo of our sweetheart.  Updated photos of our sunshine (Myles!) to come...
