Messy Art
Several weekends ago I decided to surprise John and Myles with a trip to Messy Art. It's a great place where for a nominal cost, kids can paint with brushes on easels their own size, draw with chalk on the walls, or play with some great toys while listening to kid-friendly tunes. The best part is, they can paint or draw and make a mess, and then someone else cleans it up.
It took Myles a few minutes to get into it, but once he did, he had a blast. Here are a few pics. Isn't that tiny smock the cutest? And check out the art - nice!

Puff the Magic Dragon
There are a few music places that cater to toddlers in our area. We toook Myles for his very first music lesson today, just for fun. Myles had a blast! He was not overly impressed with the tambourine - he gave it a few halfhearted taps. He was digging a drum, but then... as soon as he saw the guitar, he was totally enamored. I think we have a little guitarist on our hands. He didn't want to give his back, I'm afraid. Take a look.
