John and I took Myles to visit the
Noah's Ark exhibition at the Skirball Museum. All of the very cool animals are made with found objects and can be touched. They also have a section where kids can "make" rain and thunder, see where the animals supposedly would have slept on the ark, and climb rope ladders, etc. Of course, this being L.A., we got to do all of these things with
Reba McEntire and her grandkids. Hmm. Well, Myles didn't care a whit. So much for star power!









We also stopped by
ZAP! POW! BAM! The Superhero: The Golden Age of Comic Books, 1938–1950 while we were there. The exhibition has some great pencil drawings and original comics, as well as the batmotorcycle from the 60's tv show, Christopher Reeve's superman costume, and a fun section for kids to dress up, as well as an old batmobile nickel ride... check out the pics and video, below.
